Update On My Health

Can I just tell you something? As a 3 year uterine cancer survivor, I absolutely love hearing the words: "We found nothing on your CT Scan. It came back normal!" I have been undergoing a few tests to get to the bottom of my consistently-not-feeling-well over the last few weeks. I've had lots of nausea, a consistent pain in my abdominal area, uncomfortableness in my tummy, and some other symptoms thrown in there for over 10 days. It has pretty much stunk the whole time. There were a few days where I felt relief, but not many. So, yesterday I went to the doctor and discussed the CT Scan results with him. And really, there is a little zing! that happens when I am told that they found nothing. Now, I know there is something going on. So, we are sort of back to the drawing board where my health is concerned. My doctor suggested that the only thing that we had not discussed yet was stomach problems/too much acid production. So, here I am with a prescription and a week to see if it works...Update: It's stress related.

Really, I can handle anything, even if it were cancer again. God is so faithful and He is the one who has His hands on the steering wheel of my life. But, it does feel good not to have cancer again. :)

  16. I also stumbled onto this post and must tell you how happy I am for you. I am 8 weeks post-op from a abdominal hysterectomy. I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma In-Situ of the Cervix back in April of 2008. I ended up having to go to an oncologist at UCSD for the surgery and follow up care. I also got the little zing when the results came back after the hysterectomy. I hope my fellow hyster-sister is back to feeling "normal" again very soon!
