Not One, But Two

Not just one baby is crying, but two babies are wailing at the top of their lungs. It grates on my nerves. I have never been good with letting go of that and tuning it out. I still work on it everyday. It is tough to handle with the anount of stress I have been under this year (incredible). Sometimes, all I want is to maintain the peace or create some for that matter.

Well, officially the story with our next door neighbors is that the woman who owns it runs a boarding house and charges insanely cheap rent, which attracts a less-than-stellar clientele. great news...

Christmas hs been an unbelievable blessing. We were blessed with a teensy dishwasher that washes 4 place settings. Hey, all I care about is that it frees me from having to stand and scrub forever. We are still working out the kinks of where to put it in our similarly teensy kitchen, but it's so great to be able to have one!!

Our anniversary was immortalized at "The Cellar" in Fullerton. Holey Creme Brulee Batman! What an amazing meal! It was a very old world/old school/vintage/romantic experience. We learned that Elizibeth Taylor was engaged there (in a secret area of booths known as "the grotto"). I love places like that-with history.

On to the New Year, and new adventures in child rearing. Kya's 2 year birthday is only a few weeks away, what to do, what to do...Nemo? Thomas the Train? Veggie Tales? Backyardigans? It's anyone's guess!
