Ringing in the New Year

We spent the Eve-of-2006 with the Voss' and our good friend Rob. We played games and watched a movie and toasted the New Year. It was so much fun! Just being with people and relaxing. We almost didn't go because it was raining so hard, but the Voss' helped me get the kids down the mountain and into the car amidst the rain. Conga is a fun game. So is Yatzee. I haven't played that in forever and we just got it for Christmas from my sister and brother-in-law. i like it because you can "work your own game". Later, in a rather awkward moment, Rob had me in stitches over the movie "Anchorman". It was awkward, because I was laughing so hard I was crying and no one else was. weird.

  1. Michelle, I read your 2nd half of the "Hundred Things About Me". You really get to know a lot about a person that way! I would live in the 19th century too - I have such romantic ideals! I'm reading "Sense and Sensibility" as I write. OK, I guess writing my "100 things about me" needs to be my New Year's resolution! Keep and eye out - maybe that will give me motivation!!
