Yellow and White Breakfast Tin

In this Tin: Clockwise from top left: Mini egg casserole (or petite quiche), Granola with almonds and raisins, Buttered toast with crust cut off, Organic canned peaches, Mini egg caserole #2, sliced banans.

Went out last night with Trevor for some alone time and we bought these tins at kohls. Trevor was excited to purchase something for my muffin tin meals-he likes seeing what I can come up with! I would not recommend purchasing at Kohls unless there is a sale, as these 6 tin pans were 22.00 ea. but we did get one 1/2 off. I love the little silicone cups they come with! It made clean up a snap! Although there are still no new foods presented in this one, the egg casseroles were a little unusual for the kids and thus decided the eggs needed salt and pepper! It's also a little less colorful than I was aiming for....I need to build up my foods in the fridge and stockpile some ideas for the am hours when I am a little less coherent. Kya wanted milk over her granola like a little mini-cereal bowl-which turned out pretty cute. Kya devoured through five of the six compartments-leaving one egg casserole. (She ultimately did not like the texture). I loved them and in the future I will be adding chees and such. I baked them right in the tin with silicone liner and pulled them out of the tin to cool and stuck the tin in the freezer so Lukie-boy wouldn't burn his digits.

  1. $22.00??? You didn't have to buy the Calphalon pans!!! HaHaHaHa! They have them at Walmart for 5 bucks.

  2. I couldn't resist the calphalon ones...they came with silicone cups in pastel colors! They called to me from afar. And know the muffins and cupcakes I bake in them will be amazing by default! HAHAHAHA!
