No Need for the Sunday Paper

Muffin Tin Monday Tomorrow!!!
THEME: Family Heritage/Recipes passed down through your family!

Ladies, I can't wait to see all those tins tomorrow! Because it is a theme week, I will be putting up pictures this time, and remember I accept submssions all week, just email me or leave me a comment on my blog with a link! And if you could be so kind as to put in a mention about MTM and link back to Her Cup Overfloweth, I would be so grateful!

On to the links for today....

My Little Gems is a "new to me" blog that I have really begun to enjoy. Hurry over to her blog to participate in a giveaway for an adorable advent calendar! She also has another great post titled Photo Rebus Stories; It's about inspiring imagination in your kidlets through story telling. It also helps to promote early literacy skills. (this one is geared for 5 and under, but could be adjusted to work for all ages!)

Party Perfect has a great post about a winter table setting themed with birds and branches. It makes me want to go out and get branches to spray paint right now!

Chasing Cheerios and Flipflops and Applesauce both post about alternative uses for cereal boxes! What a great "green" craft option. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Simple Mom has a giveaway for a stylishly sleek and versatile Epson printer that is wireless! I want to be one of those mommy bloggers that gets swag and perks like that!

I have a few more links, but I will save them for next week, or maybe I will do a mid-week links post!

Todays Scripture, in keeping with November: Thankful and Blogging About It, is on giving thanks to God.

Psalm 100

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

This also brings to mind a simple song I sing to the kids that I grew up singing:

I will enter your gates with thanksgiving in my heart

I will enter his courts with praise

I will say this is the day that the Lord has made

I will rejoice, for He has made me Glad

He has made glad, He has made me glad,

I will rejoice for He has made me glad!
