This week's links:
Chasing Cheerios: A Felt Gingerbread Boy and Gingerbread House activity! Chasing Cheerios always has wonderful ideas for toddlers and preschoolers! I think this is simply adorable!
All That is Good: Homemade Hot Chocolate (like her mom used to make). What a great idea, recipe and gift option for Christmas. Who doesn't like Hot Chocolate?!
Lakeshore Learning: Building Language 3-D Lotto. This is a great activity set for 3-6 year olds. The child matches the 3-D object to the picture. Great for object identification and early language skills.
Dandelion Wishes: Mamarazzi shares with us how she helped her daughter celebrate her 13th birthday - A Spa Party Extravanganza! I hope I can show my daughter how much I love her this way when she's 13!!!
Miller Moments: She has some great ideas on how to keep the Christ in Christmas. Wonderful Christ-centered activies and ideas to teach your little ones the Reason for the season.

This week's scripture reading is short sweet and oh so relevant to the holiday season:
Psalms 46:10
"Be still and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."
And it's not scripture, but the Doxology is also a wonderful reminder during this season to remember that all our blessings and gifts come from above (see James 1:17)
The Doxology
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son ,and Holy Ghost.
