Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday is a weekly blog gathering (here at HCO) of mommies who serve one meal a week (or more:) ) in a muffin tin! We post submissions every Monday and enjoy sharing and encouraging each other as parents. Remember, you can be as basic or as detailed as you want!

**I accept submissions all week!**

There aren't many rules. Here are the rules, er, guidelines:

~To participate you must either have a blog or a flickr account.

~The meal has to be in a muffin tin (a twist on this might be to use just muffin tin liners).

~You can be as creative or basic as you want.

~I welcome questions and ideas.

~Post your tin on your blog or upload a photo of your tin to flickr and email me (vistamommy(at)yahoo(dot)com) or comment on my blog with the link to your post or flickr photo.

~It's not required that you link back to Her Cup Overfloweth on your MTM post, but it is greatly appreciated! :)
~There is also a Muffin Tin Flickr Group dedicated to food in a tin! Come join us! It's where I go to get inspiration, and post more photos!

There is NO THEME this week, so submit whatever you want! Pictured below is one of our new tins. My husband is so sweet and got them for me (I didn't even ask!)

(Clockwise from top left: Mozarella cheese circles, green seedless grapes, sparkling apple cider, buttered roll cut in half, cubed salami)

I am looking for our next set of theme ideas for MTM, I have already had one suggestion and I am looking for more! You may comment on this post with your ideas, if I use your idea, I will be sure to mention you and your blog in my next Muffin Tin Monday post! The first person to comment with an idea will get the "credit" so to speak. And now on to your submissions!:

  1. I hope I'm doing this right! This is our first muffin tin monday post.

  2. Yummy! I think my kids would eat every meal from a muffin tin:)

    Here is ours:

  3. We loved our food challange. This might be a good idea for a theme one week.

  4. Here's our muffin tin!

We made Bagel Snowmen this week! Our pictures are here.

I think it would be fun to do an alphabet theme or another color (it's been a while since we did color). I enjoy the holidays too - I would love to see what other families would do for Groundhog's Day! My 6 yo son would like something silly, like "Foods You Can Eat With A Straw."

An idea, would be colors of the week. Red one week, orange the next, then yellow...etc.

  7. With the snow we've been getting lately, I was inspired!
