Group Art!

A wide open canvas can be intimidating for some, but with a little help from friends group art can be a super fun process. This photo was taken before Little Miss' birthday party. We supplied the tools and they went to town! Working together with other children is not only fun, but it promotes socialization, team work, cooperative play, and much more! Children see a finished project and learn that their seemingly small contribution matters to the bigger picture.

What's more...Group Art can happen in small or large groups, with 2 or 20 children!

  1. I like that you used the whole table and added things like stamps and markers for everyone to use. For my daughter's first birthday party, we covered a card table with paper and put out some crayons so the kids could go to town!

  2. Talk about crafty Michelle, you are such a good creative teacher! I can tell, you are just so patient with the kiddos too :-) Hope the party was fun!

  3. I finally finished my yogurt cup idea. Here is the link!

Thank you for a great post. I just did this this morning and everyone had a great time!

  5. I love the range of materials you put out - definitely something I'll be keeping in mind for future parties!
