This may or may not become a regular thing, but I couldn't resist sharing, again, with you the randomness that is born out of my google searches! So here we go:
Things I Googled This Week
(in no particular order)
1. NCIS (there was a marathon on USA, I had to get the lowdown on next season)
2. Hobnocker (as heard on an episode of iCarly...my daughter new fave show...)
3. Altered Art (this was more of a Flickr search...there are a host of objects out there, waiting for alteration!)
4. Trisomy 13 ( A friend's unborn daughter has just been diagnosed. I am praying for a miracle!)
5. Deluxe Inflatable Pool (We went to a playdate where they had one with a slide and a spray feature. It was so much fun! They are a little pricey, though! I was looking for the super small version, but never found what I was looking for!)
So, there you have it. My randomness, in all it's glory!
What did you google this week?

the year without a santa claus...
ReplyDeletewas looking for a clip for tomorrow's post!
I'm sure lots of other things, too.
Try Big Lots for the pool item you spoke of. Got one earlier this summer for $40. Sure kept my son entertained. Check out the pictures I posted of my son and his friend.

Oh how fun.
ReplyDeleteI use google a lot, but I must not be very good at it because often I don't really find what I want...usually instructions on how to do something.
ReplyDeleteSome of my recent searches:
How to make padded photo albums. (I made some as a teenager. I kind of remember how, but I'd really like some good direction with photos).
craigslist (looking for random stuff to make-over)
toy piano book (this would be a song book with a little piano thing along one edge.)
how to make animal finger puppets.
quiet books
i googled how to learn some html codes for my new blog.. html is not easy
ReplyDelete@camerapatty: thax I will definitely look for it at Big Lots!
ReplyDelete@ Ruby: I remember thos piano books! it's been ages since I have seen one!
@myztic: you are so right, html is not easy!
Had to laugh at the hobknocker. We just had that discussion in our house, too. Glad I didn't google it when the kids were around.
ReplyDeleteLove random lists! The other day I came across a flickr group of furniture redos...very cool!
ReplyDeleteI didn't google anything particularly interesting lately.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I remember was: When can toddlers have honey?
My son LOVES I-Carly, and if I'm being honest, I have been known to finish the episode after he's gone to bed ;)
We like NCIS too. We just started watching this spring though. We don't have cable but love Monk and Psych...we used to have cable, and own all of their seasons on DVD.
ReplyDeleteThat altered art piece is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes it is all USA network's fault but I got sucked into the NCIS marathon as well and now I'm playing catch up for 5 seasons of episodes!
We got a small one at walmart for $20 that had a dolphin that sprays and a whale slide. My daughter loved it!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle
ReplyDeleteNot much googling happening here this week, although I did google "wolves" as my nearly three year old wanted to see a picture of a wolf. We have a picture book and she asked me what a particular animal was. I replied it was a wolf. She then said: "No mummy, that is not a wolf" so using the image tab we googled "wolf" and she loved seeing the different colours and looks. I think we may be onto something as then she wanted me to google "the circus"!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
that hobnobber thing was a hoax. there was a great article about it somewhere...I'll see if I can find the link to it. It was NOT what the google results claim it to be.
