Muffin Tin Monday is a weekly blog carnival (here at HCO) where we get together and share the muffin tin meals we made for our kids each week! Sometimes there is a theme (see my sidebar for upcoming themes) and sometimes there isn't. For more info about Muffin Tin Monday, be sure to check out the Muffin Tin Monday FAQ. Here's what we did for Muffin Tin Monday! We decided to make faces with the snacks in our tin! We needed ingredients:
(apples, red licorice bites, Life cereal, red grapes, fish crackers, choc. chips)
We took our snacks and had a face makin' fest! Here is a sample of our work:
Very cute! I didn't think to do my tin that way... I guess because my son is still a little young to be able to make his own "face". I'll have to store this idea in my brain file to use when he's older. ;) I'm linked. Thanx!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, this is such a good idea! I'll be honest, I wish I'd thought of something like this:-).
ReplyDeleteCute mtm! I've been such a slacker! I've gotta get circus on the brain so I don't miss it again ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Very Creative!

ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you made the faces! Such a great idea. Thanks for being such a great hostes for Muffin Tin Monday.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea! I can't believe I thought of the same thing as you. That makes me feel good. :) And I like the idea of doing them as a snack too, I've got to remember that.
ReplyDeleteToday was out first Muffin Tin Monday! What a great theme. The kids were so excited.
ReplyDeleteI love your faces, they turned out so cute!
I threw it together at the last minute, but it still turned out! Thanks for the great theme idea =]
ReplyDeleteWe have been enjoying Muffin Tin Monday but this is my first time posting about it. THanks for all the great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute and creative!! Again, we dropped the ball on Monday but will be posting our muffin tin tomorrow (when my daughter is in a better mood and when I'm...well, in a better mood too! Ha!). And of course, now I have all these great ideas and inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a clever idea! I bet they had so much fun playing with their food. When else do you get the chance to do that? ;)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Thanks for doing MTM! We LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing how everyone interpreted the theme. I would post but my camera charger is stuck in our car which is stuck in South Carolina still.
ReplyDeleteWe did our first MTM today. I didn't follow the theme this time since it was our first, but I want to say thank you! My picky eater voluntarily gobbled up cauliflower and bell pepper strips because of the different presentation of them. He normally would turn his nose up at them without so much as a taste! Thanks a ton!
ReplyDeleteVery very cute ... I can't believe how many mtms there are ... AWESOME!!! I used your game idea for ours today ... so fun!!! Thanks for all the good ideas, my kids thank you even if they don't really know!
ReplyDeleteThis was my first time and my girls loved it! We had the neighbor over and she loved it too! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteWow, so many MTMers now! Your kids made some good faces.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to use the muffin tins to create your lunches. You girls rock! My babies are off to school tomorrow, so no muffin tin lunches for me M-F, but I'll save all these nuggets for the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteTried my first Muffin Tin meal tonight - huge success! Of course, I did it on Tuesday, and it was TOTALLY off theme, but fun nonetheless! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks yum and creative :)
ReplyDeleteI like your faces, didn't think to make one big one. I also have to add that I used to be involved in this through my old blog, but have started back again with my new one. Maybe this time it will stick.
