So when my friend and fellow blogger, Stephanie sent me this incredible vintage tin all the way from PA, I was utterly delighted! It's in excellent condition, so I went ahead and put a muffin tin lunch in it!
It's an 8 cup mini muffin tin. Rare indeed.
And marked with EKCO 080 Chicago on it. I looked it up and found a little bit of history.
Love.
Even more lovely, was hearing Steph's story about how she found the tin in a vintage shop....story upon story upon story. Now, I get to be a part of the tin's continuing story....
LOVE and so glad you like it, I will def keep my eyes out for more :)
ReplyDeleteWould you believe that I saw a 8-cup muffin tin the very day you posted this? I was at a thrift store, and I didn't pick it up. Now I wish I had! LOL
ReplyDeleteI've tried posting a few times. Hopefully they don't all show up. Lol. I was given this exact muffin pan a few weeks ago only not quite as clean as yours! Lol. I knew it was old but I'm trying to find out how old and that's how I stumbled across your blog. 😊. Do you have any idea how old these pans are? Just curious! Thanks ☺️
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle! Thanks so much for reaching out. I'm not sure about the exact year, but not any earlier than 1945, as that is when the company changed its name
DeleteI found the link you attached after I posted. Lol. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate all your help!! :)
