Omni Rancho Las Palmas Hotel Stay In Pictures

The are so many hotels to choose from in the greater Palm Springs area that when it came time to pick a hotel for our family vacation last fall after Luke's final chemotherapy treatment, we were almost overwhelmed with the choices. We've been on a few vacations to the Palm Desert area of the valley, so we knew we wanted to choose a hotel in the area that's fun for the whole family. And that's why we chose Rancho Las Palmas in closely neighboring Rancho Mirage. Not only is it super fun for kids, but it is close to everything, has gorgeous grounds and beautiful accommodations. We chose a suite for our family of four.

The executive suite at Rancho Las Palmas is incredibly spacious. It has limited refrigerator space, but plenty of space to store non perishable food items and snacks.

For kids, Rancho Las Palmas is a true paradise. There are two water slides, a pool, an ample splash pad, a sandy beach area...all surrounded by a lazy river! As soon as we checked in, the kids wanted to head straight to the slides!

There was no other hotel in the area that had a lazy river. The mini watermark at Rancho Las Palmas is truly one of a kind.

The Blue Ember restaurant has delicious food and patio golf course views.

On multiple mornings during our stay, we enjoyed coffee from the Palms Cafe near the fireside. It was so relaxing.

If you don't feel like sitting down for breakfast, you can grab a bite at the Palms Cafe Coffee Shop and sit on the patio or enjoy a bite to eat in your room.

Walking the grounds at all times of the day, you are greeted with gorgeous golf course and mountain views.

If you are looking for one of the best hotels for kids in Palm Springs area, we can't recommend the Omni Rancho Las Palmas enough.

This is not a sponsored post, I did not receive any compensation or hotel stay for sharing my experience.

  1. This looks like the perfect place to really take a break from what we call the daily grind. So glad you could use this as a time to celebrate the end of chemo treatment for Luke. I hope to take the family there in the near future!
