Muffin Tin Lunch For Kids
In this kids lunch served in a muffin tin: Peanut butter and banana sandwiches, green apples, persimmon slices, vanilla yogurt with pearl sprinkles, banana slices.
Banana and peanut butter is my daughter's new favorite sandwich. She's not a PB & J kind of kid - so I am pleasantly surprised that she like's this combo. And persimmons were a first - for both her and me. I loved them! Her, not so much. She said they tasted to much like squash. ;-)
What new foods have your kids tried lately?

Muffin Tin Monday: Another Lunch
It is with bittersweet joy that I tell you that this will
be my last week hosting Muffin Tin Monday. I am joyfully handing over the reigns to Melissa of AnotherLunch.com. Melissa is a super creative and
talented bento blogger and long time MTM’er who I have come to know in the kids
food blogging community. Her photos are always gorgeous. She is excited to take on Muffin Tin Monday
and Muffin Tin Meals.
She will be hosting
the Muffin Tin Monday Link Up every week beginning next week and I know you will love
her as much as I do!
I have been hosting Muffin Tin Monday for 4 ½ years and have
made some long lasting forever friendships with many of you. Our kids have
grown older together. Some of you are just joining us and discovering how
muffin tin lunches can add fun to the lunch time routine. It has been an amazing
experience. I've saved every email from you sharing your mealtime triumphs. They've kept me going. But it’s time for me to transition on to the next thing
both personally and professionally. I
hope you understand.
The site will stay up indefinitely as a resource for you to
get lunch time ideas and inspiration. And I will still be around, drooling over
all your cute lunch ideas.
I already miss you,
Michelle
If you have an MTM button on your site or in your last couple of MTM posts, if you know how to change the web address in the HTML code to http://anotherlunch.com, Melissa and I would be so appreciative!
Don’t forget! Next week, head over to AnotherLunch.com forMuffin Tin Monday
For now, it would make my heart happy if you would share a Muffin tin meal with me, past or present.

Muffin Tin Monday: Toddler and Preschooler Fun!
Welcome to Muffin Tin Monday! I had a long and glorious break. While on break, my sister was in town and I made my sweet 3 year old niece a muffin tin meal. It was a joy to watch her discover all the foods and decide what to eat first. Even though my niece is not "palate-challenged" so to speak, a muffin tin lunch is a great food presentation idea for "picky eaters". Did you know that recent research says that young children eat with their eyes (don't we all?) and prefer to have color food and 6-7 different food choices. Just more evidence that proves how muffin tin meals, lunches, and snacks are creating happy little tummies.
Here's the muffin tin lunch made for my niece in a mini muffin tin:

Muffin Tin Monday and a break...
I didn't make a muffn tin meal for today. After Friday's horrific events in Connecticut I have just been playing, crafting, and snuggling with my kids. I have been thinking long and hard about this little piece of the internet for some time. It remains a resource for you and you can still access past MTM posts and our popular 30 Days of Muffin Tin Meals posts. You are welcome to link up any past or current Muffin Tin Meal related blog posts this week and into the new year.
I am also taking a break from blogging and Muffin Tin Monday until January 7th. The link up will remain open in this post until then.

Muffin Tin Monday: Gingerbread Houses
Happy Muffin Tin Monday! My mom gave us a gingerbread house kit to make with the kids. Thanks Mom! It was the perfect Sunday afternoon family activity. But instead of 6 bowls taking up space on the table, I thought a muffin tin might work to corral all the candies.
I have to give major credit to Muffin Tin Dad for helping construct the house and keep it together. We used cream cheese frosting for decorating the project and I wasn't sure how well the house would hold up. But he did a great job making sure it all stayed together.
We passed the muffin tin around the table and let the kids decorate to their hearts content.
Now it's your turn! What did you make for Muffin Tin Monday?

Muffin Tin Monday!
Hello Monday! And Hello MTM! Welcome to Muffin Tin Monday. This is the weekly blog link up that celebrates the muffin tin meal. I've been hosting this link up for quite some time and the muffin tin meal you see picture here below is from 2009 (Back when my kids were still preschoolers). A little of this, a little of that and ta-da!
In this tin: cutie tangerine slices, banana slices, carrot sticks, sun chips, turkey slices, star shaped cheese and chocolate chips.Muffin tin meals for kids are a great way to make little bits and pieces of food into a meal. You can see that I didn't have a ton of anything, but I made the little I had look like fun!
Now, it's your turn!

Muffin Tin Monday: Halloween Revisited
For the next few weeks, I will be sharing MTM's of the past. Did you know there are over 200 muffin tin meals in the Muffin Tin Mom archives? Yep. And this is one of them. Halloween Muffin Tin Lunch 2010 (Also see that post for even more Halloween MTM links).
In this tin: Orange Slice and fruit leather Jack-o-lanterns, vanilla yogurt and sprinkles, cantaloupe, cookie bites, cheezits (I know not exactly healthy), dried chow mein noodle "worms" and treats under the foam pumpkin shapes on the right.
I used a circle shaped fondant cutter, a knife and fruit leather to make the jack-o-lantern faces by hand.
Now it's your turn!

Muffin Tin Lunch Revisited
Today's Muffin Tin Meal is a reprise from 2011. I remember trying to get the kids to eat kiwi fruit. This was actually a muffin tin fruit and veggie platter for a snack. I wanted to expose the kids to kiwi fruit a little more.
